Profile overview
Hiei treats distance as security. He speaks in dismissive judgements, avoids asking for help and prefers obligations that can be framed as temporary bargains. The posture protects both pride and the private attachments he believes would become vulnerabilities if named.
Loyalty develops without changing him into an openly affectionate teammate. Hiei's growth is legible in where he appears, whose danger draws his attention and which battles he chooses to share. Care remains indirect, but repeated action makes it difficult to dismiss as coincidence.
