Copyright Takedown and Image Removal

A removal channel for rights holders in India and other jurisdictions, including valid DMCA notices where applicable.

How to request removal

Email copyright@anime.org.in or use the Request image removal link displayed with the image. Include your name and contact details, identification of the protected work, the exact Anime.org.in page URL, the image or placement at issue and evidence that you own the rights or are authorised to act.

Statements to include

State in good faith why the disputed use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or applicable law, and confirm that the information supplied is accurate. If you are submitting a formal notice under a particular law, identify the jurisdiction and include any signature or declaration that law requires.

Our response

We acknowledge sufficiently detailed reports, preserve the relevant media record, assess the source and stated rights basis, and remove or restrict access when appropriate. A credible ownership claim may lead to temporary restriction while the review is completed.

Mistakes and restoration

If material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, the affected source or contributor may provide supporting evidence for a new review. Restoration is not automatic and requires a documented rights basis appropriate to the intended use.

Direct removal channel

Report an image or request removal

Send the page URL, identify the image and protected work, and explain your ownership or authority to act. Credible requests can be temporarily restricted while they are reviewed.
