Privacy Policy

How Anime.org.in handles optional Google Analytics cookies, consent, local preferences and planned advertising. Updated 1 October 2026.

Operator and contact

Anime.org.in is operated by Code U Web Technologies Pvt. Ltd. For questions about this policy or a privacy request, contact editorial@anime.org.in. Include only the information needed to explain your request.

Data minimisation

The public site does not require an account and does not currently provide personalised profiles, saved lists or payment features. Standard hosting logs may record technical request information needed for security and reliable delivery.

Current cookies and local preferences

Google AdSense is planned but is not enabled on Anime.org.in as of 1 October 2026. Advertising cookies are not enabled. Your browser may store functional preferences, such as your selected display theme and your cookie choice. These preferences are separate from optional Google Analytics measurement.

Optional Google Analytics measurement

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, only after you choose Accept cookies in Cookie preferences. Before acceptance, or after rejection, we do not load Google's Analytics tag or send Google measurement requests, including cookieless measurement pings. Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict access to the website.

After acceptance, Google Analytics measures visits to published pages using a pseudonymous browser identifier, page-view and basic session information, browser/device information and approximate location. Google receives technical information, including your IP address when your browser makes a request. This is not a promise of anonymous processing. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, search terms, URL query parameters or fragments. Search and unknown/private routes are excluded. Google Signals, enhanced measurement, advertising personalization and advertising consent are disabled; this integration does not measure scrolls, downloads, outbound clicks or site searches.

Google Analytics can set first-party _ga and _ga_MPL7YFJZTM cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session state. We configure a maximum cookie lifetime of 180 days without automatic renewal. The necessary anime-cookie-preferences-v1 local-storage entry remembers acceptance or rejection for 180 days; an expired choice requires a new decision. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may last only for the current visit. We do not use Analytics identifiers for advertising.

Change your choice or withdraw consent

Use the persistent Cookie settings control on every page and choose Reject optional cookies to withdraw Analytics consent. Tracking is disabled immediately, the relevant accessible Google Analytics cookies are cleared, and a reload unloads Google's tag and its background listeners. Your rejection is remembered for 180 days and synchronized across open tabs. You can accept again later. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it cannot recall requests already sent while consent was active or automatically erase historical reports. Contact editorial@anime.org.in for privacy requests.

We configure Google Analytics user-level and event-level data retention to two months, with renewal on new user activity disabled. These controls do not determine the lifetime of aggregated standard reports. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under its applicable contractual safeguards. Google Analytics is optional and separate from functional display preferences. This notice will be updated if the services or purposes change.

Planned Google AdSense advertising

If AdSense is enabled, Google and other participating advertising vendors may use cookies to select ads based on previous visits to this site and other websites. Advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to personalise ads across websites. Before activation, we will update this policy to identify the services actually used and provide the required consent choices.

You can manage Google's personalised advertising through My Ad Center. Google's partner-site privacy information explains how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

Consent before advertising activation

Before enabling advertising that requires consent, we will provide the relevant consent controls. For personalised Google ads in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's requirements include a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. This is a pre-launch requirement, not a claim that a consent platform is already installed.

Where consent is required, advertising storage and processing must not begin before the relevant choice. Visitors must be able to withdraw consent through the consent controls once advertising is enabled.

External services

Official outbound links are governed by the destination's privacy policy. We label affiliate relationships where they exist.
