Corrections Policy

How to report and document a material error.

Report an issue

Send the page URL, the statement at issue, the proposed correction and a supporting source through the contact page.

What happens next

We assess the source, correct material errors, update the verification date and add an update note when the change affects the page's meaning.

Response targets

These are operational targets, not guarantees that every disputed claim can be resolved within the window. A source conflict may remain open while the page carries an uncertainty note.

AcknowledgementWithin 2 business days
We confirm receipt when the report includes a page URL and enough detail to identify the disputed statement.
Urgent triageSame business day when practicable
Active safety risks, impersonation, malicious links and credible rights-holder reports are prioritised for restriction or escalation.
Standard factual reviewDecision within 5 business days
The target applies when a specific claim and supporting source are supplied. Complex source conflicts may require more time.
Complex-case updateStatus update within 10 business days
For translation disputes, territorial rights, historical credits or unresolved primary-source conflicts, we provide a progress update rather than promise an unsupported conclusion.

Send reports to editorial@anime.org.in with the page URL, disputed text and supporting evidence. The acknowledgement clock starts when the report contains enough information to identify the issue.
