Profile overview
Mila Rose's size and lion-themed release make physical power her clearest battlefield identity, yet her role inside the trio is not simple aggression. She can step out of an argument and recognize when Apacci's temper or Sung-Sun's teasing is distracting them from a shared danger.
Her loyalty operates horizontally as well as upward. Harribel is the leader she follows, but Apacci and Sung-Sun are the partners with whom she pays the cost of summoning Ayon. The Tres Bestias survive because their rivalry never becomes more important than the bond underneath it.
Franceska Mila Rose is Arrancar 55 and one of Tier Harribel's Tres Bestias. She regularly clashes with Apacci, but becomes the group's steadier voice when the situation demands it. In Fake Karakura Town, Mila Rose releases Leona against Rangiku Matsumoto and Momo Hinamori, helps create Ayon through Quimera Parca and survives the battle. She later fights Quilge Opie's Jagdarmee in Hueco Mundo.

- Protective
- Competitive with Apacci
- Capable of keeping a cool head
Abilities, powers and limitations
Abilities
- Using high physical strength, Hierro, Sonido and Cero in direct Arrancar combat
- Wielding a broad-bladed Zanpakuto suited to powerful close-range swings
- Releasing Leona to gain lion-like armor, claws and a substantial increase in strength
- Pressuring opponents through forceful charges and heavy strikes rather than delicate technique
- Coordinating with Apacci and Sung-Sun to surround opponents and cover different angles
- Sacrificing an arm with the other Tres Bestias to create Ayon through Quimera Parca
Limits
- Leona's emphasis on direct power can be redirected or contained by opponents who coordinate movement and Kidō.
- Arguments with Apacci consume attention until an external threat forces both fighters to cooperate.
- Momo's preparations and Rangiku's support prevent the released trio from turning numerical advantage into a clean victory.
- Quimera Parca weakens Mila Rose at the moment Ayon becomes the group's main offensive force.
- Yamamoto and Quilge each demonstrate power far beyond what Mila Rose can answer, even with the full trio present.
Aliases
Mila Rose, Arrancar 55, Tres Bestias member
Role
Lion-themed Harribel Fraccion who balances physical force with an older-sister composure
Important relationships
- Tier Harribel treats Mila Rose, Apacci and Sung-Sun as companions whose lives matter, shaping their loyalty more deeply than Aizen's ranking system.
- Emilou Apacci is Mila Rose's frequent sparring partner in conversation and a trusted counterpart when the trio commits to battle.
- Cyan Sung-Sun's restrained sarcasm often aggravates Mila Rose even as her tactical judgment helps the group.
- Rangiku Matsumoto faces Mila Rose and the other Fraccion before Momo reinforces the lieutenant's position.
- Momo Hinamori uses Kidō and battlefield planning to challenge the Tres Bestias' released forms.
- Ayon contains power donated by Mila Rose and her partners but lacks the personality and restraint that define their actual bond.
- Quilge Opie defeats the Tres Bestias in occupied Hueco Mundo and uses Quincy absorption against their summoned creature.
Defining moments
- Standing with Harribel in Fake Karakura Town places Mila Rose inside the series' clearest Arrancar found-family unit.
- Releasing Leona turns her imposing sealed presence into an openly lion-like expression of strength.
- Regaining composure during the fight shows that the group's loudest arguments do not erase tactical awareness.
- Giving an arm to Quimera Parca proves that she will accept the same cost she expects from her companions.
- Surviving the battle lets her loyalty continue after the Espada hierarchy and Aizen's authority disappear.
- Facing Quilge beside Apacci and Sung-Sun confirms that the Tres Bestias still operate as one unit in Harribel's Hueco Mundo.
Symbolism and visual design
Leona's lion imagery expresses pride, physical courage and the protective force associated with a group defender.
Her broad silhouette and heavy weapon contrast Sung-Sun's restraint and Apacci's speed, giving the trio complementary visual roles.
The sacrificed arm makes collective strength a shared wound rather than a free tactical resource.
Her older-sister composure appears not through silence but through the ability to stop competing when survival requires unity.
Manga-versus-anime differences
The manga gives Mila Rose a distinct balance of bickering and practical judgment within the group, while the repeated Ayon battles show both the scale and cost of their strongest technique.
The anime expands Leona's physical exchanges and adds a pre-Arrancar history for Harribel's companions that is not shown in the manga. Sayori Ishizuka voices Mila Rose in Japanese in both the original series and Thousand-Year Blood War.
