Profile overview
Yuki's public image is a successful disguise that other people help maintain. Beauty, academic ability and athletic competence invite admiration without intimacy; the more perfect he appears, the less room he has to be awkward, angry or uncertain in front of anyone.
His development is therefore not a simple movement from weakness to confidence. Yuki must stop using someone else's warmth as a complete identity and build relationships he participates in as an equal. Independence means risking ordinary embarrassment instead of remaining an unreachable ideal.
