Profile overview
Poww is quiet enough to appear contemplative, yet his faith in Baraggan and his own size produces deep certainty about hierarchy. He views his king as a god and expects physical scale to settle questions of strength. Defeating Ikkaku seems to confirm that worldview until Komamura introduces power on an entirely different level.
His battle also turns on Ikkaku's private ambition. Ikkaku would rather lose the pillar than use Bankai where others might discover he is strong enough to be promoted away from Squad 11. Poww succeeds because of that choice, making the Arrancar's victory an important consequence rather than a simple power comparison.
Choe Neng Poww is Arrancar 25 and the largest member of Baraggan Louisenbairn's Fracción. Sent to destroy one of the four pillars supporting Fake Karakura Town, Poww defeats Ikkaku Madarame and breaks the pillar because Ikkaku refuses to reveal his Bankai in front of other Soul Reapers. Sajin Komamura then takes over the battle. Poww releases Calderón and grows to a gigantic scale, only to be dwarfed and defeated by Komamura's Bankai, Kokujo Tengen Myo'o.
