Manga versus anime
In the manga, Omaeda's speed feint leads directly to a decisive Gegetsuburi strike that defeats Nirgge. The encounter is brief and uses comedy to conceal the lieutenant's tactical awareness.
The anime extends Mamut's attacks and allows Nirgge to remain conscious after Gegetsuburi; debris from the neighboring Soi Fon battle then knocks him out. Daisuke Matsuoka voices Nirgge in Japanese.
