Manga versus anime
The manga uses Keigo as part of Ichigo's school life before giving him a concentrated role during Aizen's walk through the real Karakura Town. His spiritual awareness develops without granting him a separate combat-power storyline.
The anime expands Keigo through school comedy, the Bount storyline, the New Captain Shusuke Amagai arc and other original material. Those episodes deepen his visibility but should not be presented as manga events. Katsuyuki Konishi voices Keigo in Japanese.
