Mizuiro initially seems to exist only as Keigo's straight man, but the Karakura crisis reverses their apparent roles. The supposedly delicate, disengaged student becomes the group's most methodical improviser. He collects supplies, discards useless plans quickly and experiments before committing to an attack.
That competence does not turn him into a hidden fighter. His improvised explosion cannot hurt Aizen, and Mizuiro understands the gap almost immediately. His defining strength is cognitive: he stays observant under pressure and converts whatever an emptied city provides into options for people who have none.
Mizuiro Kojima is a classmate of Ichigo Kurosaki and the reserved companion most often seen beside Keigo Asano. His neat appearance, dry humor and calm conversations hide a complicated personal life and an unusually detached approach to dating. Like several people close to Ichigo, he becomes spiritually aware enough to remain active during Sosuke Aizen's arrival in the real Karakura Town.
