Manga versus anime
The manga establishes Racer's slowing field through the Nirvana battle and later includes Sawyer among the former Oracion Seis members recruited into Crime Sorciere.
The anime expands his vehicle combat and returns Racer in the anime-original Key of the Starry Sky storyline with a more overtly mechanical style. That material is separate from the manga path. Official Kodansha and TV Tokyo guides place Racer in the Nirvana alliance conflict and later official episode guides follow Jellal's confrontation with Oracion Seis. Junji Majima voices Sawyer in Japanese.
