Profile overview
Larcade's powers bypass heroic endurance by turning the body's ordinary needs against conscious intention. A fighter may resist pain or magical force, but hunger and sleep are not external enemies. His threat comes from making survival mechanisms impossible to negotiate with.
His tragedy is built on manufactured kinship. Larcade interprets creation as parenthood and obedience as a path to recognition, while Zeref reserves the word brother for Natsu alone. The Dragneel name gives Larcade an identity that its source never intends to honor.
Larcade Dragneel is a member of the Spriggan 12 and an Etherious created by Zeref during the experiments that eventually restored Natsu as E.N.D. Larcade regards Zeref as his father and carries the Dragneel name, but Zeref considers him a failed attempt rather than a true son. His white magic manipulates basic bodily desires, turning pleasure, hunger and sleep into forces that can disable large groups regardless of conventional durability. During the Alvarez war, Larcade attacks Kagura Mikazuchi, Yukino Agria and nearby combatants before Sting Eucliffe confronts him. Sting can consume Larcade's white magic and combines his own White Dragon Slayer power with Rogue's shadow, creating the specialized counter needed to overcome the Spriggan. Larcade later intervenes in Natsu and Zeref's battle, expecting to protect the person he calls father, only to be rejected by his creator.
