Profile overview
Ganju enters the story as a loud rival whose bravado makes grief easier to carry. His hatred of Soul Reapers gives a simple target to a loss he does not understand, while his devotion to Kaien preserves the family honour he thinks Soul Society discarded.
Joining Ichigo changes that certainty through action rather than a speech. Ganju argues, competes and complains, yet repeatedly chooses the dangerous route when another person needs help.
