Manga versus anime
The manga establishes Jaken as Sesshomaru's retainer and Rin's reluctant caretaker. The 2000 television anime expands his reactions, mishaps and travel scenes, increasing his role as comic commentary.
Inuyasha: The Final Act retains that function while moving quickly through the concluding manga story. Yashahime depicts a later period, so changes in his duties belong in spoiler-marked coverage. Cho voices Jaken in Japanese.
